That is a sound ya just don’t hear much any more – a two cylinder tractor at idle. Most old John Deeres were two lungers – thus Johnny Poppers. Dad had a John Deere Model 720 made in 1958 that I’d get to run once in a while – Dad enjoyed it so much he’d hog it up.
