2 Corinthians 12:9
. . .“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”. . .
God’s grace is immense and a never ending source of nourishment for our lives.
His grace also abounds, that when we’d rather have our own, pathetic sad attempts at our own will (talking about me, here), He stays steadfast and only allows His will to be done.
Plainly put: when I’d be satisfied with cube steak, He wills to give me bacon-wrapped filet mignon. While cube steak is fine smothered in gravy, after it has been chicken-fried, I’d much rather have the filet mignon.
Only took me 42 years to learn. 🙂
Have a blessed Sunday!
