While watching David Jeremiah, today, I learned a big lesson. It is one that you’d think I’d know by now, given I am adult with a fair amount of life experience under my belt: When we hold onto hurts and do not forgive, we might be missing out on bigger blessings of love.
Imagine. If you were hurt by someone close to you, and instead of allowing bitterness or hurt to determine your actions toward that person, you chose to show love and forgiveness instead…just think how much better that relationship (of any kind) would be.
You know how good you feel when you know you are truly forgiven by someone? By God? Imagine how that person would feel if you showed grace toward him or her.
Pretty sweet lesson to learn–trading pride for love and forgiveness…sounds good any day of the week to me. 🙂
