“It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” The disciples were even more amazed, and said to each other, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”
We can’t save ourselves and we can’t save others. Only God has the power to do so, and He has provided that opprotunity to us through Christ’s willingness to die on our behalf, for our sins.
So, when we look at the big picture that includes all of the trials and issues we face, we should remember that God can handle everything for us. He is able, when and if it is His will, to do anything. We can try in vain do our own thing, but when we wait for God’s perfect will, we see that He is able to do above and beyond anything we could every imagine.
We all go through things; heck, I’m going through a tough patch right now. In it, though, I have been finding myself expressing what God’s promises are to us. He is able and He will provide.
Have a wonderful Sunday. 🙂
