Kind of a weighty update. . .

These are boxing gloves.  More accurately, they are my training gloves.  I like them A LOT. 

 

This is my kettle bell.  It is making me stronger.

 

The scale?  Not my friend.  I’m working on that relationship.  Right now, I’m enjoying getting stronger and having more stamina.

It’s all good and getting danged better.

    Yep, that’s what I’ve surmised I have to do. A couple of week’s ago, I realized that I gained weight for the first time in two years. Then I realized, “WOW! I didn’t gain weight for two years.” The biggest part of all of this is that I’m understanding how not to give up and accept things. I can do things to help my circumstances to some degree, and I have to do it. That mindset is new to me.

    It sure is. In the past, I would have just given up, telling myself that I can’t do it and that this is how I’m supposed to be. I don’t believe that anymore. All I can do is keep trying. In October it dawned on me that I’d been going to the gym 3-4 times a week for a year. It is becoming a part of my life, which is really nice. Hopefully, “the rest will come” along soon. 🙂
