Earlier, I was watching a montage of all the things that happened throughout the year. It certainly wasn’t a quiet year, nor was it year lacking in insanity. Just too much, it seems.
I hope 2010 will be much quieter.
To ease into the next year, I wanted to offer this Bible passage. It is on the sidebar of my blog. It seems every year we all create goals and resolutions, which are good–it means we want to be better people. It means that in some part of our lives, we want to start anew. However, think of how much better it would be to have a fresh start with others and most importantly, with God.
He offers that chance at new beginnings.
2 Corinthians 5:17-19
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

Happy New Year to you and yours!
You, too, Jeffro!
Happy New Year, D!
Same to ya RT! Best Wishes for 2010!
