Note to self: Do not try to do math on Saturday mornings without your weight log open.
Yes, I keep a written weight log. I figured it was best to do, since I don’t tell you all my actual weight. I would, but it would scare small children and we don’t want that to happen.
Okay. Last week I posted that I lost weight, and I really thought I had. I wrote that and posted it on my site without consulting the weight log, though. I realized that I had gained two pounds when I went to enter the weight into my weight log later that day. I was too bummed to make any changes on the blog. Sorry.
So….try this math:
Last week I was up two pounds for minus 5 for the challenge.
This week I am minus SIX from last Saturday’s number, and I am minus 10 for the challenge (after checking more numbers).
(Don’t worry, I’ve checked and re-checked, everything is quite legit this week.)
I’ve been working very hard and finally, some proof of it. Who would have thought that yogurt and grapes could be so bad. (Grapes are high-glycemic, as are bananas, so I only put 1/2 of one on my cereal and in my smoothies, now.)
Yes, I’m turning into on of those “gym rats,” and I think I’d rather have that indulgence than many others I’ve had over othe years.
I hope you all have a great and successful week!
OTHER UPDATES:
Joated….I think he gained or stayed the same. Either way, he’s not happy and working on his Bah! Humbug! for the holiday season.
Kim…isn’t quite sure about her weight, but she is noticing a loss of inches. That reminds me, I need to start measuring myself. I’ve avoided that for too long.
Wyatt…While his weight remains the same, he is feeling ready to turn things up a bit post-op, and he’s ready to hit his goal.

Well done – that must have cheered you up after another busy week at work.

I’m kind of proud of me, too. I am more proud of getting my butt to the gym five times this week.

It cheered me quite a bit. I’m hoping my metabolism stays hyped up so that I can continue to lose weight at a steady pace.
I forgot to give my state. Almost 1 pound. I got the results back from my blood work and every was normal except for my cholesterol which is a little high. They suggest less fat more fiber and can you believe it exercise! It runs in the family so I had better be good.
