I’m at my stop for the night. It is a very nice hotel. I splurged. I don’t think it is wise for a girly to stay in a motel overnight by herself, so I opted for the fancy place in Roanoke.
This is my view. Well, I have the curtains closed, now. However, the sunset was pretty.
This is the message inviting me to a good night’s rest. No problem, there. I didn’t sleep well last night and was up until almost 3:00 am. I then got up around 6:00 am. Then I drove for eight hours. (I think I might be a little delirious.
Did I mention that when I got here, they gave me two warmed chocolate chip cookies? I also have a 32-inch plasma tv. Nice.
On my way up to Virginia, I was listening to the radio and heard this really funny song. I thought it was funny. (Joey & Rory, “Cheater, Cheater”)
O.k., about those “sweet dreams?” I’m going to go have some, so see y’all tomorrow night. I think my parents miss me. My dad called while I was driving to see if we could go out to lunch Sunday and my mom is making chicken and dumplings tomorrow night.
